It oxidizes organic contaminants that cause cloudy water, musty odors and eye irritation. It also kills bacteria and algae, and clarifies the water using a filter enhancer. Smart Shock buffers the pH to provide brilliantly clear water with no cloudy residue and without increasing the pH.
